Some christian topics:
Baptism
Mt.6:22-23 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”
Jesus, the LORD, says here: “if the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness?” It almost seems like a contradiction in terms. How can the light in you be darkness? The answer lies in how you perceive that darkness. If you know you are in darkness, your automatic and natural response is to look for light. But if you have called the darkness light, you will not pursue the light because you are convinced you don’t need it.
Mark 16:15-16"And he said unto them, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. But he that believeth not shall be damned. "
In the church of Jesus worldwide is a different understanding of baptism, caused by traditions and false understanding, caused darkness inside the children of God. God saved them in order to grow in Christ. What is the mistake regarding the biblical baptism:
Baptism of adults and children ?
The Bible teaches neither the one nor the other.
Rebirth by baptism ?
In connection with the water no man comes to rebirth. We point out that this water we are dealing with in the chemical formula H2O can never give a new birth, a new Spirit. The Lord Jesus says in the Gospel of John says: which is born of the Spirit is (or remains) spirit. Born of water means here born by the „word of God“. Like Peter says it in the first letter of Peter 1, 23. Really brother, you are born again by the living word of God, which is first only a seed. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. (Genesis 1,1).Light comes by the word of God. God separates Light and darkness. What is flesh (or of material), it remains as it is, flesh. Therefore the next information: born again is not the flesh, but only the soul. Regarding our „flesh“: we are sinner until the end of our life. Yes, we become more pure and become a small Jesus yes it is true, but the sin remains in us and is not washed away with the water baptism. Sorry for that. But we clean us from every sin. Thats true also. The Bible does not teach that anybody by tap water or dirty water from the river Jordan could come to a new "birth". If this would be true, then I would stay the rest of my life immersed my body in the river Jordan.
No foregiveness of sin by baptism !
The Bible teaches that the blood of Jesus cleanses of all sin.
Baptism is not necessary for salvation - why?
Salvation together with baptism? This is not Biblical teaching, these are doctrines of men, behind them is Satan, the enemy, who wants to distort the truth of things in any extreme teaching. If someone has come to the rebirth and he is not baptized, as the Bible says, then we'll find him up in the glory in heaven. Why? Because he has experienced the grace of God and the faith of salvation through Jeus, the son of God, he got saved. Salvation is by faith, baptism is not by faith, it is by obedience. Baptism means to have put off the "old flesh" and have put on the "new man". This does not mean we receive a new flesh and does not mean we receive Christ by baptism. Before baptism we received Jesus as Saviour - read this in John 14, 21 - and HE gave us the Holy Spirit (rebirth) - and this makes us to have a new "inner man", a new personallity.
"For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God" Romans 8,16. And in the same time we have the old flesh. Romans 6, 10 For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 11 So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. The Bible teaches in the New Testament only the children of God, the born again people. Now we deduce literally, we would have no more "old flesh". Because we are baptised. That's a lie, and I can prove very quickly that these people who say that still have the "old flesh". I just need to tell the truth and the old flesh of these people jumps out of their mouth. To put off the "old flesh" means not a literal sense or a literal way, but through the Spirit. In the spirit of scripture, we ourselves have to bring the essence of our "old flesh" into death, not bring others to death. What means the water baptism in the daily life? What means salvation in the daily life ? Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The water baptism is not a sacrament !
It is not a sacrament, not even then, if there is the false teaching of some churches. By the way, the Bible, God's word, does not know a sacrament. Have you ever read this word in the bible?
So we don‘t need baptism?
YES, we need it. What for? The baptism we need as the testimony for our earthly life. Baptism is the testimony, we died with Christ on the cross. There at the cross of the Lord I lay down my sinful thoughts and my sinful life. This is a wonderful thing. This is a glorious thing. Is is so good for those who experienced it. It's more than just a Water-surrounding in this baptism. The will of the living God has demanded that the "old fleshly man" has to be burried. We do well to obey the Lord.
What means baptism regarding Romans 6 ?
What is to be buried at such a water baptism? Well, the Lord Jesus died on the cross. He was buried after his death in the tomb, which was dedicated to Joseph of Arimathea. He came into this tomb, but he did not remain in the tomb. The Joseph of Arimathea would have been perfectly able to give this crypt to the Savior, but he needed not to give it but to borrow only for three days. His willingness, the willingness of his love, was rewarded. We see that the Lord Jesus all that we give him plenty of returns, without prejudice. The stone was rolled away from the only place. That was about all. The one can again when Joseph of Arimathea then died. Thus we see that at the death of our Lord Jesus a complete death arrived. Now God's Word tells us that we should die in the likeness of his death with Christ on the cross. If we do that, then we will see a difference between Christ and us. The Lord Jesus died completely. That is, he was no longer among the living. If we die in the likeness of his death with Christ, then we are still there. Did you ever noticed that? We are then still existing. So we are not in a position to die like Christ did. God wants not that point. What then? What God wants is a spiritual thing. The baptism has a spiritual background. The background is that we should not suffer in our body a physical death in equality, but we will put the essence of the flesh of the body and give it to death. What's that? This is the old man, the spring gushing out because of Adam's sin in each person. We could say that the original sin, this sin, the Romans engaged in chapter 6 particularly from 10 to 12. So we have to give the essence of the old flesh to death. Now I tell you something else. Some people mean baptism is the the reality of death for the sin. They always have such imaginings. Imaginings are lying. The blood of Jesus cleanses us here on earth and in heaven before we go into the glory of God. This is true. For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.
Baptism of children ?
If we see the Augustine baptism people are baptized, which are not dead, are not yet by faith within Christ. That is, they are still alive. So the baptism of Augustine is a funeral of not dead people. See Romans Chapter 6. This is a cruel thing that runs out of the Word of God. God is not a God of disorder but of peace. We have the promise of peace only when Christ is recognized in the truth. Also today the Lord wants to give us the opportunity to the claimant for baptism bless due to their decision of obedience.
Something about the christian love
Because love does endure everything (1.Kor.13, 4-7) so we have to tolerate the biblical understanding of others. It is sin if we dont endure or acquiesce the doctrins the other believers. This fact does not mean we accept every message or every opinion and every idea of the believers as„correct“. A typical wrong behaviour is to put them in a bad light, and even slander them.
the Bible speaks of the unity of the faith ......(Eph.4, 13),
the bible speaks of being like-minded .........(Phil.2, 2),
the bible speaks of the unity of the Spirit ... (Eph.4, 3),
the bible teaches even the "diversity"........... (1.Cor. 12, 6 +8)
the bible speaks of "in the same spirit"....... (1. Cor.12,4 to 27)
the bible doesn‘t talks about a "Unit of knowledge".
So there is no unit of knowledge inside the body of Christ.
Our personal love for the Lord is when we recognize him in His Word.
The first is always „the written word of God“ (Ps.138, 2c).
The two different gospels
It might be that you never heard that in the bible are two gospels; two different gospels, one for the jews and one for the gentiles. This is one of the major errors and ignorances of all bible readers in the church of Christ.
One of the big mistakes in understanding the biblical speaking is when the "gospel of the kingdom" (Matthew 4,23) is not distinguished from the time of the "gospel of grace" (Acts 20, 24)
Listen: "Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the Gospel." (Mark 1:14-15 KJV)
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20.24
Paul’s Farewell to the Ephesian Elders. think:
Why?
The consequence of the rejection of the gospel of the kingdom: God was turning now to the Gentiles with the gospel of grace. (Joh.10, 16; Rom.10 0.20 to 21; Rom.11, 11 +15 a)
Almost everywhere when the scripture talks about the "gospel of the kingdom" this Gospel goes automatically into that time of the Empire of the Millennium: the 1000 years of God reign on the earth, the kingdom of the father. like Jesus told us in Matthew 6,99
This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Mark 16, 17
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
"After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it."
This gospel of the kingdom was under the effect of powerful "signs", which God did affirmatively. These were the sign for that time and (symbolic force) for the coming period of the millennial kingdom. Therefore someone spiritually violent (Matthew 11, 12) are going into that kingdom (millennial kingdom) when they accept the „gospel of grace“ just in the moment when Jesus was on the earth. So they got the eternal life with the gospel of the kingdom. Eternal life on the earth. This is the way for the jews. Eternal life in heaven this is the way for Gentiles and Jews after the resurrection of Jesus. These are difficult ideas? Yes. But true.
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.) Matthew 11, 12
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
The time of the Millennial kingdom still was not there, but should come. (This Shadow process is pictorially similar to the process of "things by faith-anticipated increase". The consequence of the Rejection of the gospel of the kingdom, was God's Turning now to the Gentiles (Nations) (Joh.10, 16; Rö.10 0.20 to 21; Rö.11, 11 +15 a)
After Hebr.11 1, we find today the time of grace, pure spiritual, faith-related. Our time is not related to powerful signs, the time of the jews, when Jesus, the LORD himself was on the earth. It is a little bit hard to understand these facts.Today, we live by faith and not by sight. The gospel was "first" given to the people of Israel. The Lord sent to these people(Mt.15, 24).Because of the rejection of Jesus Christ (John 1, 11) and his "Gospel of Empire " the preaching of this gospel came to a temporary end. It got an interruption. The consequence of the rejection of the gospel of the kingdom was that God turned now to the Gentiles (Nations) (Joh.10, 16; Rö.10 0.20 to 21; Rö.11, 11 +15 a). It should (according 1.M.18, 18) be blessed "all nations."
So now came the "gospel of grace" (Acts 20, 24) to us, the nations. The "gospel of grace" was no longer under the authority and power of those "signs" that God did before. The "gospel of grace" is now under the efficacy "of faith," as the only possible and driving force. And the end of this magnificent "period of grace" we will see very soon.
We answer any question, because God is not a God of confusion.
